2013 AGU Fall Meeting

The AGU Fall Meeting is the largest worldwide conference in the geophysical sciences, attracting more than 24,000 Earth and space scientists, educators, students, and other leaders. 40th European Physical Society Conference on Plasma Physics

This conference continues the series of European Physical Society (EPS) conferences on Plasma Physics, encompassing the fields of fusion research, magnetic confinement fusion, beam plasmas, laser-plasma interaction and inertial confinement fusion, dusty and low temperature plasmas, as well as space and astrophysical plasmas and basic plasmas.

European Geosciences Union General Assembly 2013

The EGU General Assembly 2013 was again a great success with 4,684 oral, 8,207 poster, and, for the very first time, 452 PICO presentations. 448 unique scientific sessions together with 96 Poster Summaries & Discussions as well as 143 side events created an interesting programme. At the conference 11,167 scientists from 95 countries participated, of which 28% were students, 15,000 copies of EGU Today distributed, keen media presence and reporting, and thousands of visits to the webstreams as well as to the EGU blog GEOLOG.

Fifth Solar Orbiter Workshop

The workshop was focused on the science questions addressed by this exciting and recently approved mission, which is a partnership between ESA and NASA. The scientific synergy of Solar Orbiter with Solar Probe Plus and other missions was also highlighted.
